Paulista Avenue is the largest financial business cluster in Latin America. By analyzing the context it is noticeable that the lots of the old farms once there were divided into smaller plots. This form of land division generated an anachronistic urban form, that is, classical lots with contemporary buildings.
The site is located in a buffer zone between the corporate and residential zones. The deployment of buildings in this zone sets activities related to services and trade close Paulista Avenue while residential and leisure ones by São Carlos do Pinhal St. The proposed design aims to free the ground floor for public activites. A clear reference on the Brazilian modernism.
